| Specializing in the integration
of geology and geophysics
to solve groundwater and land-use problems; Experienced in
property assessment and site remediation for the business
and banking community.
AA&E has conducted literally hundreds of site assessments
to help potential buyers and mortgagees make purchasing decisions.
Our personnel started with the industry in 1985, and have
been onboard through the changing priorities of private enterprise,
environmental regulation, public policy, and accrediting authorities.
One aspect that has remained consistent throughout is our
understanding of the scientific principles and applications
that are the technical basis for site assessment.
One of our unique capabilities is our in-house
accredited laboratory. AA&E can provide clients with
timely analytical data to differentiate between minor contamination
and impacts that warrant genuine regulatory concern. Our in-house
laboratory will provide the assurance you need, in a customized
manner, without unnecessary wait, miscommunications, and the
aggravation often associated with sending samples to an outside
lab for analysis.
We are proud to be one of the first in the area to apply
geophysical techniques to sinkhole characterization, the drilling
of high-yield water wells, and the structural configuration
of the subsurface. Personnel at AA&E completed the second
Act 2 project approved by the northeast region of the PA DEP
in 1995, and have had extensive experience with Act 2 since
that time.
Finally, in addition to expertise in applied science, our
staff maintains proficiency in the legal aspects of conducting
site assessments by regular participation in ASTM training
courses, professional organizations, and industry or regulatory
seminars.
