and geophysics for site characterization and locating
water wells in fractured bedrock aquifers. This skill has
been tremendously helpful in the development of housing tracts
that rely on individual supply wells for potable water, and
in spotting public wells to miss contaminated aquifers. Likewise,
geophysical data is much more definitive for characterizing
sinkhole prone areas than test borings alone.
