Our mission is to provide the technical expertise, flexibility, and management skills to approach each project individually, creatively, and correctly. We aspire to be recognized as an ethical and professional resource for environmental solutions, with the in-house capabilities to manage a project from start to finish, and a regional reputation second to none.

SERVICE POLICY STATEMENT
American Analytical & Environmental will be an advocate for our clients in their regulatory and business relationships.

The need for integrity, service, and quality work is respected at American Analytical & Environmental, Inc. The staff at American Analytical & Environmental, Inc. is fully committed to providing the best service possible, resolving conflicts, and maintaining the reputation of being innovative, knowledgeable, and helpful. We will do so in an ethical and astute manner.

QUALITY POLICY STATEMENT:
American Analytical & Environmental (hereafter referred to as AA&E) uses our professional and laboratory capabilities to provide accurate, timely, and precise results to our clients. Our laboratory uses EPA approved methods listed in 40 CFR 136 or SW 846. The quality control procedures and practices used by our laboratory are those found within the framework of the EPA approved methods.

Management at AA&E is committed to ensuring that the guidelines set forth by the Environmental Laboratory Approval Program (hereafter referred to as ELAP) are employed by our laboratory and used and understood by all staff.

ETHICS POLICY STATEMENT
Employees of American Analytical & Environmental acknowledge their responsibilities to society and their profession, and shall:

  1. Perform services only in the areas of their competence.
  2. Strive to enhance their qualifications through continuing education and professional development.
  3. Issue public statements only in an objective and truthful manner.
  4. Act in professional matters for the clients and AA&E as faithful agents or trustees, and avoid conflict of interest.
  5. Build professional reputations on the merit of their services, and not compete unfairly with others.
  6. Bring to the attention of the Technical Director unethical practices of any clients or other employees.

The individuals at AA&E should have a vested interest to maintain the highest level of integrity and honesty, both for their personal satisfaction and their professional reputation. The religious assembly to which the individual belongs provides training in ethical behavior. Employees without religious affiliation follow AA&E’s Standard Operating Procedures as part of their job requirements.

CONFIDENTIALLITY POLICY STATEMENT
Strict confidentiality is maintained in all of our dealing with clients. Therefore, confidentiality agreements will be signed willingly by all staff.

Employees at AA&E are to keep confidential all matters regarding all clients. Analytical results will be reviewed on a need-to-know basis and are to be discussed only either internally or with the client. Identification of our clients should also be kept confidential.

Also, methodology and processes used by AA&E are to be kept confidential.

In any instance where information is subpoenaed by and must be released to a regulatory agency or legal body, the client is promptly notified. Likewise, the client agrees to respect all such relationships of trust. Client agrees that it will not use AA&E’s name and/or data in any manner that might cause harm to AA&E's reputation and/or business.

Unethical practices or activities and breaches of confidentiality by an employee are grounds for immediate dismissal and potential legal action by AA&E against the individual.
